Prosperity & Pathfinders — Dungeon Master

About the project

Before Prosperity & Pathfinders existed as a multiplayer web game, it was a single-device Android app — the "Dungeon Master" edition, meant to be passed around the table or run by one host while everyone else plays off a shared screen. It's built natively in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, and it's the source of truth for the game's rules, ledgers, and economic simulation.

The app tracks each player's full financial dossier — liquid cash, net worth, stocks and ETFs, bonds, crypto, real estate holdings, rental income, and debt — turn by turn, alongside a configurable residential real estate system for buying, financing, and managing rental properties within the game itself.

When the multiplayer web version was built, its investing and rental-property economics were ported directly from this app's game logic, with a handful of bugs found and corrected along the way. It remains a fully functional, independently maintained app with its own test suite, unaffected by the newer web project.
